I recently wrote a blog post about Startup America – the Obama administration’s plan to cut government regulations and make it easier for small businesses to thrive and prosper. The Small Business Administration used resources such as the Reducing Barriers Roundtables and the Reducing Barriers Online Platform to solicit ideas and suggestions from the small business owners these regulations affect.
For once, the people spoke, and the government listened. On Tuesday, August 23rd 2011, The White House announced its plans to end and/or cut back on hundreds of government regulations that are stifling small businesses.
