Last month, I blogged about the Empire State Film Production Credit in New York State. Well, the production is well under way and several productions have brought big names in to the towns and cities of our great state. So, what effect has this film production credit had?
According to Newsday, a film called “The Place Beyond The Pines” decided to film its production in Schenectady, NY – a city upstate near Albany, NY that could really use the economic boost. The film, originally slated to be shot in Mexico, stars celebrities including Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling, and Eva Mendes.
